Installing on a phone, storage, data ownership, security, and support.
OnSite is a web app, so there's nothing to download from an app store. Add it to your home screen and it opens like any other app:
- iPhone and iPad: open onsite.tools in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Android: open onsite.tools in Chrome, tap the menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.
Once installed, you can take, caption and mark up photos without signal. They're saved on the device and upload when you're back online. Generating the PDF report needs a connection.
Free includes 2 GB per organization. Basic includes 50 GB per user, pooled across your team. Pro and Enterprise include unlimited photo and report storage. Admins can see how much storage their organization uses on the Organization page, with a warning at 80% of the limit.
You keep the rights to the photos, reports, and data you upload (see section 4 of the Terms of Service). Every report can be downloaded as a PDF, and admins can search site visits and export the results as CSV.
Signing in with a password from a new browser requires a 6-digit code sent to your email (with Continue with Google, Google verifies you instead), and you can remove trusted devices from your profile at any time. Each member of your organization is a technician, admin, or owner. Technicians record visits and reports; only admins and owners manage users, settings, and organization data.
Yes. Photos uploaded to OnSite are used to develop and train OnSite's own models, such as photo quality scoring, and this is a condition of using the service with no opt-out. We never sell or share your photos with third parties, and we don't use them to train third-party models. If you no longer want a photo used, delete it or your account. The Privacy Policy has the details.
